The incident occurred during the ongoing protest following the hospitalisation of activist Sonam Wangchuk, causing a temporary disruption as supporters rushed towards the stage and organisers worked to restore order.
The alleged attack created momentary panic among those gathered at the protest site, although no injuries were immediately reported. Later, Dipke reacted to the incident on X, posting, “Blue is my colour… Jai Bhim!” The protest resumed shortly after normalcy returned.
