Gujarat Giants were no match for Puneri Paltan, who beat them 37–17 at the SMS Indoor Stadium on Friday. A press statement from PKL says that Aslam Inamdar (10 points), Gaurav Khatri (6 points), and Mohamadreza Chiyaneh (5 points) all played fantastically, which led to the team’s dominant win.

The first few plays for Paltan were very exciting, and they quickly took a five-point lead. That lead, though, came from their great defence, which kept the Giants quiet to the point where they didn’t score their first point until five minutes had passed. In the first half, the Paltan defence was unbeatable, recording an amazing 8 tackle points.

It was impossible for the Giants to get close to the best team of the season. Sonu made one “SUPER TACKLE” that stopped what was going to happen, but with three minutes left in the half, Paltan scored a “ALL OUT” to go ahead 16–7. They made it even bigger, and by the break, they were ahead by an amazing 11 points.

Pune continued to be the better team in the second half. They scored a second ALL OUT in the first four minutes of the second half to take a 28-10 lead. At this point, the Giants cared more about having a good game than about winning. But the Giants’ offence, which was having trouble, couldn’t do much to stop the rampage. There was no question that the Paltan would win, even though the Giants pulled off a series of “SUPER TACKLES” at the end of the game to avoid the shame of another all-out.
