Mumbai: A brilliant century from Quinton de Kock went in vain as explosive half-centuries from Prabhsimran Singh and Shreyas Iyer guided Punjab Kings to a commanding seven-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians in their Indian Premier League 2026 clash at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.

Punjab Kings responded with authority during the chase, led by a stunning third-wicket partnership between Prabhsimran and Iyer.
Prabhsimran played a fearless innings, remaining unbeaten on 80 off just 39 balls, while captain Iyer smashed a fluent 66 off 35 balls.
The duo combined for a decisive 139-run stand off 67 balls, dismantling the Mumbai bowling attack and ensuring the target was chased down comfortably with 21 balls to spare.
