Opening batter Prabhsimran Singh also played a vital role with a fluent 69 off 39 deliveries, giving PBKS early momentum.
The duo ensured Punjab stayed ahead of the required rate for most of the chase before Iyer finished the game in style.
Josh Inglis Rescues LSG After Early Collapse
Earlier in the match, Josh Inglis top-scored for Lucknow Super Giants with an impressive 72 off 44 balls.
LSG found themselves in early trouble at 20 for 2 before Inglis rebuilt the innings alongside Ayush Badoni.
Badoni played an explosive cameo of 43 off just 18 balls, narrowly missing out on a half-century. The pair stitched together a quick 49-run partnership to revive the innings.
Towards the end, Abdul Samad added valuable late runs with an unbeaten 37 off 20 deliveries to push LSG close to the 200-run mark.
Lucknow eventually finished on 196 for 6 in 20 overs.
