On Thursday, the eagerly awaited comedy-drama “Dunki,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, will finally hit theatres. When SRK’s new avatar appears on screen, fans just can’t handle their excitement. At Mumbai’s renowned single-screen theatre, Gaiety Galaxy, the film will have its premiere in India at 5.55 am. Fans have made sure that the opening of SRK’s most recent release is nothing short of a celebration.

On social media, a number of images and videos from this enormous celebration by SRK fans went viral.
A sizable gathering of people can be seen celebrating Dunki’s release by dancing to the sounds of dhol and setting off fireworks in videos posted by Shah Rukh’s fan clubs. At the location, a large cutout of SRK was also visible. Shah Rukh took to X to express his gratitude to the fans for their love and excitement for the film, writing, “Thank u guys and girls have a good show and hope u all get entertained by #Dunki.”

One such actor who never fails to uplift fans with his insightful and witty remarks is Shah Rukh Khan. In keeping with his signature manner, SRK requested that his devoted followers see the film first. “Arre ab picture dekhne toh jao ya bahar hi kushti karte rahoge,” his official X handle posted. Check out the film and let me know if you all liked it. #Dunki.”

Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon are the co-writers of Dunki. This endearing story tells the story of four friends, Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli, who want to move to London to live a better life, but first they must go through a difficult but transformative journey.
At one of the Dubai events, Shah Rukh Khan called “Dunki” his best movie.

“I didn’t make anything for myself when I made Jawan, so I thought it was a movie for boys and girls. Then, I made Dunki. Thus, this is my movie. I hold this movie in the highest regard. Several film critics, who ostensibly know more about movies than the directors, commented on the kinds of roles I was playing during Pathaan, which made me feel strongly that I should only work on movies that I truly love, which includes all the movies I’ve done this year.

I want to close the year with a movie for myself, but I started the year with Pathaan, which was always ladies first. Please make time on December 21 to watch Dunki. There is something in the movie for everyone to relate to. You’ll laugh out loud watching the movie, he said. This is SRK and Hirani and Taapsee’s first joint project.
