Senior Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, K.C. Venugopal, and Pawan Khera, staged a protest at Lok Kalyan Marg against the alleged lathi charge on students participating in the "Chalo Sansad" march over the NEET paper leak issue.
Questions were raised after several people carrying batons, but not wearing Delhi Police or Rapid Action Force (RAF) uniforms, were seen during the students' protest and the 'Chalo Parliament' march in the national capital. Police sources said the demonstration drew an exceptionally large crowd, prompting the deployment of Special Staff personnel in plain clothes to assist with security arrangements.
