A woman doctor was found dead at her residence in Punjab’s Jalandhar on Wednesday, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. The deceased, identified as Dr Meenakshi, was discovered hanging inside her home in Kewal Vihar.
The CBI has taken over the Twisha Sharma death case and is examining husband Samarth Singh’s claims about her alleged bipolar disorder, abortion, deleted WhatsApp chats and marital disputes, while investigating allegations of dowry harassment and emotional abuse.
