The fragile ceasefire between the United States and Iran has come under renewed pressure after a series of incidents in the Strait of Hormuz triggered fresh military exchanges and raised fears of a wider regional conflict.
Iran has formally invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the funeral ceremony of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Sources said the official invitation has been submitted to India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) through diplomatic channels.
