Xiaomi 17T And 17T Pro Debut In Europe Ahead Of India Launch

Xiaomi has officially expanded its smartphone lineup in Europe by introducing two new members to its flagship family: the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro. Both devices sit just below the standard Xiaomi 17 model that launched earlier this year.

Consequently, this series aims at consumers who crave premium camera capabilities and high-end hardware without crossing into full flagship price points. The standard Xiaomi 17T is already locked in for an official Indian launch on June 4th, while the Pro model’s local debut remains unannounced.

European Pricing and Available Colors

The new smartphones target slightly different budgets while offering a premium build featuring flat edges and a distinct squarish camera design.

• Xiaomi 17T: Pricing starts at Euro 749 (approximately Rs. 83,400). It comes in Black, Violet, Blue, and Opal White.
• Xiaomi 17T Pro: Pricing sits at approximately Euro 899 (around Rs. 1,00,000). The Pro variant is available in Black, Deep Blue, and Deep Violet.

Xiaomi 17T: Versatile Leica Optics and Balanced Specs

The defining feature of the Xiaomi 17T is its Leica-branded camera system. Interestingly, its telephoto focal range actually beats out the more expensive standard Xiaomi 17 models, delivering sharper long-range images.

The triple rear array includes a 50MP Light Fusion 800 primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Together, the complete Leica system handles a versatile 15mm to 115mm equivalent focal length. Mobile photographers can also experiment with new creative modes like Silhouette, Flame, and Fireworks. For video creators, it records stable 4K 60fps HDR10 footage using optical image stabilization. A 32MP front sensor takes care of selfies.

Powering this hardware is a massive 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery supporting 67W fast charging. Thanks to high-density battery technology, the phone maintains a relatively lightweight profile at roughly 200 grams. For power users, the Xiaomi 17T Pro upgrades the internal components to compete directly with elite flagship devices.

Upgraded Processor and Display

The Pro version discards the midrange chip in favor of the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC. It also bumps the screen real estate up to a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display. Gamers will specifically appreciate its faster 144Hz refresh rate, which ensures ultra-smooth visual feedback during intense titles.

Premium Sensor and Blazing Charge Speeds

While it shares a similar triple-lens layout with the base 17T, the Pro model switches out the main sensor for the flagship Light Fusion 950 sensor (the same one found inside the high-end Xiaomi 17). This upgrade captures vastly superior low-light details.

Furthermore, the Pro model holds a larger 7,000mAh battery. Charging is incredibly fast, utilizing 100W wired fast charging alongside 50W wireless charging support. Both devices carry durable IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings to survive harsh elements.
