In Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, actors Rakesh Bedi and Vindu Dara Singh are set to perform ‘Ramleela’ as part of the celebrations for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Temple.

Vindu Dara Singh, playing Lord Shiva, shared his excitement about participating in the Ramleela from January 16 to 22. He expressed that Ayodhya is on its way to becoming a top pilgrimage destination and highlighted the significant work of leaders like Modi ji and Yogi ji.

Rakesh Bedi commented on the anticipated development in Ayodhya following the construction of a new airport. The Ramleela began today, with Vindu Dara Singh in the role of Shiva. The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, decided to showcase Lord Ram’s global significance through over 18 forms of Ramleelas, both in India and abroad.

From Makar Sankranti (January 15) to January 22, various forms of Ramleela will be staged in Ayodhya’s cultural centres, culminating in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22. Ramleela troupes from countries like Nepal, Cambodia, and others, along with groups from various Indian states, will participate in the Ramotsav celebrations. Performances are scheduled at multiple venues in Ayodhya, including the Tulsi Manch at Tulsi Bhawan Memorial and Purushottam Manch at Ramkatha Park, showcasing diverse cultural and spiritual programs, including Ramleela.
