US President Donald Trump has been declared fit to serve following a comprehensive medical examination

June 2, 2026: US President Donald Trump has been declared in “excellent health” after undergoing a comprehensive medical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella stated that Trump remains fully fit to carry out his duties as commander in chief. The report noted that the 79-year-old president now weighs 238 pounds (108 kg), reflecting a gain of 14 pounds since his previous health assessment.

Commenting on the findings, former emergency room physician Dr. Stuart Fischer said the publicly available report does not provide enough details for an outside medical evaluation. While he dismissed some criticism surrounding Trump’s health, Fischer suggested that unexplained weight gain can sometimes be linked to circulatory issues or early congestive heart failure. However, he acknowledged that the official report contains no evidence indicating Trump suffers from heart failure or any serious cardiovascular condition.

The medical examination found no significant abnormalities in Trump’s cardiac, pulmonary or neurological health. The president reportedly underwent heart imaging, CT scans, cancer screenings and evaluations by multiple specialists. The report also noted improvements in his previously diagnosed chronic venous insufficiency and highlighted that he scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, a widely used cognitive screening test. Doctors concluded that Trump’s cognitive and physical performance remain excellent despite his demanding schedule.
