Donald Trump escalated tensions with Iran on Sunday after launching a dramatic late-night social media blitz filled with AI-generated images of missile strikes, warships, drones and military action targeting the Islamic republic.
The posts appeared on Trump’s Truth Social platform just hours after he issued a fresh warning to Tehran, demanding rapid movement towards a peace agreement amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia.
Trump Shares AI-Generated War Images Targeting Iran
In a span of just a few hours, Trump reportedly shared more than 20 images and videos, many depicting American military dominance over Iran.
One of the most widely discussed posts featured a map of Iran covered with an American flag, with arrows pointing toward the country from multiple directions, suggesting military encirclement.
Another image showed a US drone attacking Iranian fast boats with the caption: “BYE BYE, Fast boats”.
Trump also shared a short video clip depicting a US warship targeting an Iranian aircraft. In the clip, Trump appears to mimic typing commands before saying, “ba ba ba ba… fire, boom.”
Additional posts included futuristic military imagery linked to America’s Space Force. One image showed Trump in outer space surrounded by satellites while monitoring missile strikes from orbit. Another portrayed him pressing a “kill button” aboard a spacecraft, while background screens displayed explosions and what appeared to be a nuclear blast.
Trump Warns Iran: ‘Time Is Of The Essence’
The social media barrage came shortly after Trump issued one of his strongest warnings yet to Iran amid the ongoing war.
“For Iran, the Clock is ticking, and they better get moving, FAST, or there won’t be anything left of them,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!” he added.
The comments signal growing frustration within Washington over the lack of progress towards ending the conflict.
