Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 is off to a strong start at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The comedy entertainer registered an impressive jump in collections on its second day, crossing the ₹50 crore mark worldwide within just two days of release.

According to early trade estimates by Sacnilk, Dhamaal 4 earned ₹22.50 crore net in India on Day 2, recording a remarkable 60.7% increase over its opening-day collection of ₹14 crore. The film witnessed strong weekend footfalls across the country, with over 10,900 shows contributing to its impressive Saturday performance.
With the latest figures, the film’s total India net collection now stands at ₹36.50 crore, while its India gross collection has reached ₹43.80 crore after two days. The comedy franchise appears to have benefited from positive word-of-mouth among family audiences and the popularity of the Dhamaal brand.
The film has also maintained a steady performance overseas. It reportedly collected ₹5 crore gross internationally on Day 2, taking its overseas total to ₹10 crore gross. As a result, Dhamaal 4 has now crossed the ₹53.80 crore worldwide gross milestone within just two days of its theatrical release.
Featuring an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Upendra Limaye, Anjali Anand, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Esha Gupta, and Vijay Patkar, the film marks another addition to the popular comedy franchise.
Made on a reported ₹200 crore budget, the film has made an encouraging start, although it still has a long road ahead to recover its production costs. Industry observers believe its Sunday collections and weekday hold will be crucial in determining whether the film can sustain its momentum at the box office.
While the commercial performance has been impressive, critical reception has been mixed. Reviews have praised performances by Jaaved Jaaferi and Sanjay Mishra but pointed out that the film falls short on delivering consistent laughs, with many calling it an entertaining yet uneven comedy.
With a solid opening weekend underway, all eyes are now on whether Dhamaal 4 can continue its strong run and emerge as another box-office success for Ajay Devgn.
