Actor Medha Shankr turned heads with her elegant ethnic look as she attended The Bhakti Concert hosted by celebrated singer Shankar Mahadevan in Mumbai. Best known for her performance in 12th Fail, the actor embraced festive fashion in a stunning pink and gold lehenga, making it a perfect inspiration for the upcoming wedding season.
For the event, Medha wore the ‘Tazeen’ lehenga set by designer label Charu And Vasundhara. Crafted from tissue taffeta, the rust rose pink ensemble featured intricate gold embroidery, a sleeveless scoop-neck peplum blouse with paisley detailing and a subtle front cut-out that added a contemporary touch. The look was completed with a beautifully crushed lehenga skirt and an embellished dupatta.
The designer outfit, priced at Rs 72,500, blended traditional craftsmanship with modern styling, making it an ideal choice for festive celebrations and wedding functions.
Styled by Tarang Agarwal, Medha accessorised her outfit with gold and silver polki jhumkas from Karishma Joolry, a matching potli bag and a delicate micro bindi. She opted for soft, bouncy curls and kept her makeup fresh and minimal with glowing skin, subtle eye makeup and a glossy pink lip, perfectly complementing Mumbai’s humid weather.
Apart from her fashion statement, Medha recently opened up about the challenges she faced as a newcomer in the entertainment industry. In an interview, she revealed that several designers had initially refused to lend outfits for events because she was new to the industry.
The actor shared that while those experiences felt disappointing, she does not hold any grudges. Instead, she views them as part of her journey and remains focused on building her career through hard work and perseverance.
