The Delhi High Court on Friday issued notice to the Centre on a petition filed by Abhijeet Deepke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), challenging the government’s decision to block the party’s X account in India.
Alka Lamba was convicted by the Rouse Avenue Court in connection with the July 2024 Mahila Congress protest held at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. The court held Lamba guilty in the case linked to the demonstration led under her leadership and fixed June 5 for arguments on sentencing.
