Delhi witnessed one of its strongest pre-monsoon storms of the season on Tuesday night, with wind speeds reaching 128 kmph at Pusa and 120 kmph at Palam Airport. The storm uprooted trees, blocked roads and disrupted flight operations, causing diversions and delays across the national capital.
Strong dust storms hit Delhi on Tuesday evening, prompting the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to issue red and orange alerts across parts of the National Capital Region. The weather department forecast moderate rainfall accompanied by severe thunderstorms in South Delhi, South East Delhi, South West Delhi, New Delhi and North West Delhi.
