A fresh political storm has erupted within the Trinamool Congress (TMC) after expelled leader Ritabrata Banerjee reportedly claimed the support of 58 party MLAs and declared himself Leader of the Opposition.
Senior Trinamool Congress leader Kunal Ghosh on Wednesday said that Firhad Hakim is set to resign as Kolkata Mayor after receiving approval from party chief Mamata Banerjee.
