OPPO has officially expanded its premium smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the OPPO Find X9s. Curiously, despite its “s” moniker, this sub-flagship smartphone is actually positioned above the vanilla flagship Find X9—a strategy mirroring Vivo’s confusing naming choices with the X300 FE.
The Find X9s aims to court camera enthusiasts and power users alike, packing top-tier MediaTek silicon, an massive battery layer, and high-end Hasselblad photography hardware.
OPPO Find X9s: India Price, Launch Offers, and Availability
The OPPO Find X9s is competitively priced in India, putting it in a direct head-to-head battle with its closest market rival, the Vivo X300 FE.
| Variant | Retail Price | Effective Price (With Bank Offers) |
| 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage | ₹79,999 | ₹72,000 |
| 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage | ₹89,999 | ₹82,000 |
The device officially goes on sale in India starting May 28th. It will be available across partnered e-commerce platforms like Amazon.in. OPPO is offering the phone in three distinct aesthetic choices: Midnight Grey, Lavender Sky, and Sunset Orange.
Premium Hardware, Display, and Massive Battery Performance

Unlike some of its more compact rivals, the Find X9s keeps a substantial footprint. It measures 159mm x 74mm x 7.9mm and weighs 202 grams, sharing almost identical proportions with the standard Find X9.
Display Panel
The device sports a flat 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display equipped with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. It pushes up to 1,800 nits of High Brightness Mode (HBM) to ensure solid outdoor visibility, all shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. While it lacks the extreme power-efficiency of the Vivo X300 FE’s 1Hz–120Hz LTPO technology, OPPO makes up for it in pure power capacity.
Battery and Charging
To offset the standard AMOLED screen draw, OPPO has fitted the device with a massive 7,025mAh battery—significantly larger than most competitors in this price bracket.

- Wired Charging: Supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging.
- The Caveat: The charging speeds are a bit conservative compared to the Vivo rival’s 90W flash charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
Performance Architecture
Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, delivering peak performance metrics that trade blows comfortably with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 devices. The chipset is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and snappy UFS 4.1 internal storage.
Pro-Grade Hasselblad Triple Camera System
Photography is where the OPPO Find X9s makes its loudest statement. It features a squircle-shaped camera array fine-tuned in partnership with legendary camera house Hasselblad.

The system delivers up to 6x lossless zoom utilizing sensor-cropping techniques. Video creators can take advantage of 4K 60fps Dolby Vision recording across all three rear sensors seamlessly, alongside a 240fps slow-motion setting. On the front panel, a 32MP punch-hole camera handles selfies and video calls.
Software Lifecycle and Environmental Durability
The device runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 right out of the box. OPPO promises a reliable update roadmap, offering 4 years of major Android version upgrades and 6 years of security patches. While highly competitive, this security support lifecycle falls slightly short of Vivo’s premium tier offerings.
The handset is built to survive extreme conditions, achieving a rare trifecta of environmental certifications: IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings. This means the phone isn’t just protected against heavy downpours and submersion in water, but it is also resilient against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets. Additional connectivity amenities include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.1, NFC, and built-in eSIM support.
