Ticket Prices in Kolkata and Bengaluru

In Kolkata, ticket prices remain comparatively lower.

Similarly, PVR VR Bengaluru, Whitefield Road, is offering tickets priced at Rs 1,850, Rs 1,650, Rs 1,550, and Rs 1,200, depending on the seating category and show timing.

Why Are Ticket Prices So High?

One of the biggest reasons behind the premium pricing is the film’s unique production.

Christopher Nolan has shot The Odyssey entirely using IMAX’s largest 70mm film format, making it the first feature film to do so.

The filmmaker has consistently encouraged audiences to experience his movies in IMAX, and exhibitors are expecting strong demand for the film’s premium screenings.

As a result, multiplex chains have priced IMAX tickets significantly higher than standard screenings.
