The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun.
The nearest major railway station is Rishikesh Railway Station.

Govindghat is well connected by road with Haridwar, Rishikesh and other major towns of Uttarakhand.
Trekking Route
The Valley of Flowers trek is generally considered moderate and beginner-friendly for people with reasonable fitness levels.

- Govindghat to Poolna by local transport
- Poolna to Ghangaria by trek
- Ghangaria to Valley of Flowers trek (approximately 4 km)

Hemkund Sahib Connection

Visitors should note that overnight stays and camping inside the Valley of Flowers National Park are strictly prohibited.
All trekkers must return to Ghangaria before the designated closing time each day.
