A major international terror investigation has uncovered an alleged assassination plot targeting Ivanka Trump, with a 32-year-old Iraqi national accused of planning attacks on American and Jewish targets across multiple countries.

According to a report by the New York Post, the suspect allegedly intended to target Ivanka Trump in retaliation for the 2020 US drone strike that killed Iranian military commander Qasem Soleimani.

Suspect Arrested In Turkey, Extradited To US

The accused, identified as Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood Al-Saadi, was arrested in Turkey on May 15 before being extradited to the United States.

Federal investigators have charged him in connection with multiple terror-related attacks and attempted operations across Europe and North America.

Authorities reportedly recovered maps and design details linked to Ivanka Trump’s residence in Florida during the investigation.

Alleged Threats Against Ivanka Trump

According to the report, Al-Saadi allegedly posted an image online showing the area surrounding the property owned by Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner.

The post reportedly included a threatening message in Arabic warning that “neither your palaces nor the Secret Service will protect you.”

Former Iraqi diplomat Entifadh Qanbar told the newspaper that following Soleimani’s killing in Baghdad, Al-Saadi had allegedly discussed targeting Ivanka Trump “to burn down the house of Trump.”

Another source familiar with the matter also reportedly confirmed the existence of the alleged plot.

Linked To Multiple International Attacks

US authorities have connected Al-Saadi to at least 18 attacks or planned attacks in different countries.

The incidents allegedly linked to him include:

  • The firebombing of a Bank of New York Mellon building in Amsterdam
  • A shooting near the US consulate in Toronto
  • The stabbing of two Jewish victims in London earlier this year
  • Alleged plots targeting Jewish sites in Belgium and the Netherlands

Investigators believe the suspect was involved in coordinating or supporting attacks directed at both American and Jewish targets.

Alleged Links To Iran-Backed Groups

The report further claimed that Al-Saadi had links to Iraq-based Kata’ib Hizballah as well as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The IRGC has long been accused by Western governments of supporting proxy militant groups operating across the Middle East.

Currently Held In Brooklyn

Al-Saadi is currently being held in solitary confinement at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as federal authorities continue their investigation into the alleged international terror network.

The case is expected to draw significant attention given its alleged connections to Iran-backed groups, threats against high-profile American figures and attacks targeting Jewish communities across several countries.
