Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh has revised the schedule for the UPJEE Polytechnic 2026 examination. The entrance test for diploma and polytechnic admissions will now be conducted from June 2 to June 9, 2026.

Earlier, the examination was scheduled to take place between May 15 and May 22. The council revised the dates after receiving requests from students and extending the application process timeline. The registration deadline was previously April 30 but was later extended to May 10, while the last date for fee payment was May 12.
Exam Pattern and Important Details
The JEECUP examination is conducted for admission into polytechnic and diploma courses across Uttar Pradesh. The test will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode and will be available in both English and Hindi.
Key exam details:
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 MCQs
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Marking Scheme:
- +4 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- No negative marking for unanswered questions
Candidates are advised to carry:
- Admit card
- Valid government ID proof
- Passport-size photograph
- Pen for rough work
Counselling Process After Results
After the declaration of results, qualified candidates must register for online counselling, followed by seat allotment and document verification. Students will need to pay the admission fee to confirm allotted seats. The counselling process is expected to begin in June or July 2026.
