Exam Scale: Massive Participation Across Uttar Pradesh

This year’s examinations were conducted across nearly 8,000 centres statewide, reflecting the large scale of the UP Board system. These included government schools, aided institutions, and self-financed schools, ensuring widespread accessibility for students in both urban and rural regions.

The vast network highlights the UP Board’s capacity to manage one of the largest school examination systems in India.

Toppers, Merit Rewards, and Recognition

Alongside the results, UPMSP is expected to release the official toppers list and overall pass percentage for both Class 10 and Class 12.

Based on previous trends, top-performing students are likely to receive several rewards from the state government, including:

  • Cash prizes up to ₹1 lakh for state-level toppers
  • ₹20,000 to ₹50,000 for district-level toppers
  • Laptops or tablets to support higher education
  • Medals, certificates, and academic recognition
  • Eligibility for scholarships and merit-based government schemes
  • Public felicitation at district and state-level ceremonies

These incentives aim to encourage academic excellence and support students in higher education.

Previous Year Performance Overview

In the previous academic year, UP Board Class 12 recorded an overall pass percentage of 81.15%. Female students outperformed male students, with a significantly higher pass rate.

Top scorers in Class 10 and 12 had secured marks close to or above 97%, reflecting intense competition among high-performing students across the state.
