Royal Challengers Bengaluru created history on Sunday night after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets to win their second consecutive IPL title.
Led by captain Rajat Patidar, RCB achieved the historic feat at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium and became only the third franchise in Indian Premier League history to successfully defend their title.
Before RCB, only Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians had managed to win back-to-back IPL trophies.

With this victory, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have now entered an elite list of franchises with consecutive IPL titles — a feat previously achieved only by Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
