Royal Challengers Bengaluru created history on Sunday night after defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets to win their second consecutive IPL title.
Led by captain Rajat Patidar, RCB achieved the historic feat at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium and became only the third franchise in Indian Premier League history to successfully defend their title.

Before RCB, only Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians had managed to win back-to-back IPL trophies.
RCB Continue Their Dream Run
RCB looked composed throughout the high-pressure final as they chased down the target against Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans. The Bengaluru side once again showed remarkable consistency this season, with both experienced players and young stars stepping up at crucial moments.
The win marks another major milestone for captain Rajat Patidar, whose leadership throughout the tournament received praise from fans and cricket experts alike.
Gujarat Titans Fall Short In Final
Despite a strong campaign, Gujarat Titans were unable to stop RCB’s dominant run in the final. Captain Shubman Gill and his side struggled to build enough pressure during the chase as Bengaluru kept the required rate under control.

The Narendra Modi Stadium witnessed huge celebrations from RCB fans after the winning runs were scored, with players rushing onto the field to celebrate the historic achievement.
RCB Join Elite IPL List
With this victory, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have now entered an elite list of franchises with consecutive IPL titles — a feat previously achieved only by Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
The back-to-back triumph also strengthens RCB’s position as one of the most dominant teams of the current IPL era.
