Live from Columbia, South Carolina, the blue brand set the stage for Clash in Italy with title contract disputes, severe faction warfare, and several unexpected celebrity cameos.

Trick Williams Celebrates in Columbia, Defeats The Miz

The show opened with the arrival of United States Champion Trick Williams, returning to his alma mater alongside the University of South Carolina’s mascot, Cocky. Williams thanked his family and fans in the arena for helping him grow from a Gamecocks football player into a champion.

The celebration was abruptly crashed by The Miz and Kit Wilson, who mocked the homecoming. However, global rap superstar Lil Yachty emerged to back up the champion. After an exchange of bars and insults, a brawl broke out, leading to an impromptu non-title match.

Match 1: United States Champion Trick Williams vs. The Miz

  • The Action: The Miz targeted Trick’s neck early on, exploiting a distraction by Kit Wilson to hit a dropkick on the outside in front of Trick’s family. Trick rallied with multiple scoop slams fueled by the “Whoop That Trick” chants.
  • The Drama: Miz successfully hit the Skull Crushing Finale, but Williams shocked the crowd by kicking out at two. Wilson tried to slide a kendo stick into the ring, but Lil Yachty intercepted it, striking Wilson down.
  • The Finish: Distracted by the chaos outside, Miz turned right into the Trick Shot knee strike. Williams secured the pinfall victory.

Women’s Tag Team Champions Stand Tall

Backstage, Nia Jax and Lash Legend confronted the champions, warning that they want a shot at the gold sooner rather than later. Later in the ring, the champions proved exactly why they hold the titles.

Match 2: Women’s Tag Team Champions Brie Bella & Paige vs. Giulia & Kiana James (Non-Title)

  • Brie Bella ignited the crowd by activating “Brie Mode” and laying in a series of Yes Kicks on Giulia.
  • Giulia managed a powerful Northern Lights Bomb on Brie, but Paige broke up the pinfall.
  • Paige tagged in fresh and executed a devastating RamPaige on Kiana James to pick up the clean pinfall victory.

Nick Aldis Punishes Gunther, Sets Up Main Event Shock

Cody Rhodes came out to the ring to orchestrate his own contract signing, setting up a table and two office chairs. He demanded Gunther come down and sign the paperwork to finalize their Undisputed WWE Championship match.

Gunther refused to enter unless Rhodes said “Please, Mr. Gunther.” This arrogance brought out Royce Keys, who offered to sign the contract himself. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis then interrupted, stating that Gunther had officially overplayed his hand. Aldis declared that the title shot must now be earned in a high-stakes main event match tonight between Gunther and Keys, with the winner heading to Clash in Italy.

Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest Secure Hard-Fought Wins

Match 3: Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints

In a highly athletic encounter, both men traded nearfalls throughout the commercial breaks. Saints attempted to secure a victory by putting his feet on the ropes during a rollup, but the referee caught him. Capitalizing on the distraction, Carmelo Hayes executed his own rollup and successfully used the bottom rope for leverage to steal the pinfall win.

Match 4: Damian Priest vs. Tama Tonga

Before the bell could ring, Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, and Solo Sikoa blindsided Priest. Despite the pre-match beatdown, Priest fought back inside the ring, hitting a Broken Arrow. Tama Tonga counter-attacked with a swinging neckbreaker for a close two-count. Ultimately, Priest caught a rushing Tama with a rebound lariat and followed up with the South of Heaven chokeslam for the pinfall.

  • Post-Match: The Bloodline immediately swarmed Priest, leaving him laid out after a brutal Samoan Spike from Solo Sikoa.

Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss Win by DQ; Chaos Erupts

Match 5: Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. Michin & B-Fab

With Jade Cargill watching closely from the commentary table, Charlotte Flair dominated the early segments. B-Fab managed to slow Charlotte down after Jade provided a timely distraction from the floor.

The match reached its climax when Alexa Bliss made a blind tag and hit Sister Abigail on B-Fab. As Bliss went for the cover, Jade Cargill pulled the referee out of the ring, causing an immediate disqualification.

  • The Aftermath: A massive brawl broke out post-match. It was later announced that for Saturday Night’s Main Event, Rhea Ripley will return to team up with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss in a massive six-woman tag match against Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin.
