NTA clarified that no such notification has been issued and advised candidates to rely only on information available through official websites and verified announcements.
Governments Announce Free Travel for Candidates
Several state governments have introduced special travel facilities for NEET aspirants.
The Punjab government has announced free travel on Punbus and PRTC buses between June 20 and June 22 for candidates carrying their admit cards.
Similarly, the Delhi government will allow NEET candidates to travel free on DTC buses on the examination day upon showing their admit cards.
The Uttarakhand government has also extended complimentary travel on state transport buses from two days before the examination until two days after the test for eligible candidates.
Security Measures Tightened
Ahead of the re-examination, authorities have promised strict security arrangements to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. Cabinet Secretary T. V. Somanathan warned that anyone attempting to disrupt or compromise the integrity of the examination would face strict legal action.
With the examination date approaching, candidates are advised to regularly check the official NTA website for updates regarding admit card release, exam guidelines, and important announcements.
