A Delhi court on Monday convicted former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Tahir Hussain in the murder case of Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer Ankit Sharma.
The Lalita Gautam murder case in Meerut has triggered a major political controversy and law-and-order debate in Uttar Pradesh after protests continued even after the main accused was arrested. According to police, the accused was taken into custody within 24 hours of the incident and later sent to judicial custody.
