Vivo has officially raised the bar for mobile photography in India with the launch of its latest flagship series, the Vivo X300 Ultra and the more compact Vivo X300 FE.
Unveiled at a grand event at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, these devices arrive with a heavy emphasis on professional-grade optics, featuring a unique telephoto converter kit sold separately for photography enthusiasts looking to push the limits of their smartphone zoom.
Vivo X300 Ultra: The New Camera King
The flagship Vivo X300 Ultra is a powerhouse designed to compete with the likes of the Samsung S26 Ultra and iPhone 17 Pro Max. It features a stunning 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The headline feature is the ZEISS-powered triple camera system, boasting a 200MP primary sensor and a massive 200MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.7x optical zoom. With a 6,600mAh battery and 100W fast charging, it is built for endurance and speed.
Vivo X300 FE: Compact Performance
For those who prefer a more ergonomic flagship, the Vivo X300 FE offers a 6.31-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. Despite its smaller frame, it doesn’t compromise on power, also utilizing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor. Its camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main shooter and a 50MP telephoto lens. The FE version maintains premium durability with IP68/IP69 ratings and “SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance,” making it a rugged yet stylish choice in colors like Lilac Purple and Urban Olive.
Software and Pricing Details
Both devices debut with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with an industry-leading promise of 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches. While official final price tags were confirmed at launch, leaks suggest the X300 Ultra starts around ₹1,59,999, positioning it as an ultra-premium flagship. The X300 FE is expected to land between ₹79,999 and ₹89,999, marking a significant upgrade in both specs and value over its predecessor.
