The investigation into the Ketan Agarwal murder case has gathered pace, with police seizing the motorcycle allegedly used by co-accused Chetan Chaudhary to travel from Pune to Lohagad Fort, where the crime took place. Investigators have also recovered a hoodie and headphones that Chetan was reportedly wearing during the journey.

Police Recover Key Evidence

According to investigators, the seized motorcycle and personal belongings are expected to play an important role in reconstructing the events leading up to the murder. Officials are examining the recovered items as part of the ongoing forensic and circumstantial investigation.

Police also stated that Chetan allegedly changed his appearance after the incident in an attempt to avoid being identified.

Investigators Allege Conspiracy

Police claim that Chetan Chaudhary and Siya Goyal, who was engaged to Ketan Agarwal, developed a close relationship after meeting during a cricket tournament organised by Siya’s brother.

Investigators allege that the two conspired to kill Ketan and that multiple attempts to execute the plan had failed before the fatal incident at Lohagad Fort. Police further claim that Chetan allegedly told Siya he would carry out the murder himself if she did not succeed.

The allegations are part of the police investigation, and the case remains before the courts.

Siya Goyal’s Family Questioned

As part of the investigation, police questioned Siya Goyal’s parents, Pravin Goyal and Puja Goyal, along with her brother Sahil Goyal. Officials said the questioning was intended to determine whether any family member had prior knowledge of or involvement in the alleged conspiracy.

The family has denied any role in the murder. They have also publicly stated that if Siya is found guilty by the court, she should receive the strictest punishment under the law.

Family Demands Speedy Justice

Meanwhile, Ketan Agarwal’s family recently met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who assured them that the investigation would be fast-tracked and that justice would be delivered.

Ketan’s father, Vishal Agarwal, reiterated that the family would continue pursuing the case until all those responsible are held accountable through the legal process.
