Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Seychelles from June 27 to 29 to attend the island nation's 50th National Day celebrations as the Guest of Honour. During the visit, India will hand over a fast patrol vessel to the Seychelles Coast Guard, reinforcing bilateral cooperation in maritime security.
Ajit Doval met Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, in Moscow on May 28 to review bilateral cooperation between India and Russia across several strategic sectors. The discussions focused on strengthening ties in defence, energy, space and other areas of mutual interest.
