The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has officially declared the Class 10 (Matric) Result 2026 today at 11:00 AM at its Dharamshala campus. The announcement was made in the presence of Board Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma.
Students can now access their scorecards online through the official HPBOSE result portal, where provisional marksheets are available for download.
Overall Performance: 83.87% Pass Rate
This year, HPBOSE recorded an overall pass percentage of 83.87%, reflecting a strong performance by students across the state.
The result includes subject-wise marks, total score, division, and qualifying status. Original certificates will be issued later through respective schools.
Toppers Shine with Nearly Perfect Scores
Two students jointly secured the third rank in the state:
- Ashwika Sharma (Hamirpur)
- Alisha Thakur (Mandi)
Both scored 697 marks (99.57%), placing them among the top performers in the state board exams.
Strong Performance by Girls Across Categories
Female candidates delivered an impressive performance across all categories:
- General: 18,394 girls passed
- SC: 11,583 girls passed
- ST: 2,453 girls passed
- OBC: 6,019 girls passed
Officials noted that girls continued to outperform in several segments of the examination.
High Participation, Low Absenteeism
The board reported only 485 absentees, indicating strong participation across examination centres.
Total candidates included:
- 48,097 boys (39,701 passed)
- 45,079 girls (38,449 passed)
